Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we require a deposit to be paid along with a signature on our contract to secure or services for your event. We accept credit card payments through the on-line planner provide to each of our customers via our website.

Will you provide us with dinner music?

Yes, dinner music is available as part of our packages or can be added for a nominal fee on an hourly basis. Your DJ/MC will be available during this time to make any necessary announcements. A cordless microphone is also available during dinner that can be used for toasts, speeches, or blessings, etc, etc.

What will our DJ's attire be?

Our staff will be dressed in formal attire unless you specify otherwise.

How long have you been doing this?

All of our lead entertainers are experienced professionals, with at least 20 years of experience. Our owner/operator Chris Moore has been a professional DJ since 1984.

Are you insured?

Yes, Madcap Milwaukee carries full liability insurance.

Do you require a meal?

Some vendors will require that you feed them. Madcap Milwaukee does not and we understand if you are not able to provide us with a meal. However, a meal is certainly appreciated as we are often the first to arrive and the last to leave your event.

Do you have a demo video?

Yes, please see the MEDIA page of our website. Please keep in mind that no two events are alike and we customize each event to the client’s wishes.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes, we bring with us backup equipment to every event, so that in the unlikely event of a failure your event will not suffer.

How far in advance do we need to book your services?

We operate on a first come first served basis, many of our customers book us a year or more in advance. We suggest that once you have your reception hall you should next book your DJ. Please use our availability checker located on our home page to see if we are available for your event.

We have specific songs we would like to hear at our wedding. Will you play them?

Yes, this is your wedding and you're the boss. We will discuss prior to you special day all the details of what you want done and when. We will MC all of the special wedding events and coordinate with your other vendors to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Do you take any breaks?

No, we provide nonstop music from start to finish. This is a big advantage of a DJ verses live entertainment.

What kind of equipment do you use?

Madcap Milwaukee uses only professional grade sound and lighting equipment designed specifically for mobile entertainers.

Do you have a wireless microphone?

Yes, of course and our wireless microphone is available for toasts, blessings, or any other announcements that need to be made during the event.

Do you have references?

Yes, there are several testimonials listed on our website. Madcap Milwaukee also has many outstanding on-line reviews. However, we would also be happy to provide you with a reference list of previous clients that you are free to contact.

Will you take requests during the event?

Yes, we are happy to accept requests from your guests unless you tell us otherwise. We can also activate an optional guest requests system through our website that will allow your guests to make requests and dedications prior to your event.

Are there any hidden costs?

No, our contract is all inclusive and our rate will be agreed upon in advance. The only optional additional cost would be gratuities for your entertainers should you choose to provide one for a job well done.
